John Daniel Twelker, OD, PhD is an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science and a lecturer for the Brien Holden Vision Institute. He is living and traveling in Africa for a year to teach optometry.

I am a postgraduate student from the University of Edinburgh and I am currently studying about the provision of spectacles in Tanzania for my final research project. During the course of my research I have come across your blog and I am particularly interested in your piece about spectacles fabrication. Therefore, I think you would be a really interesting and useful person to speak to.
